UPSKILL ON A BOOTCAMP

Bootcamps are fully funded Level 2 courses supported by Level 1 qualifications. They are developed in partnership with local employers, providers and authorities to help fill skills gaps and vacancies in your local area.

Specifically designed for people to develop their skills and gain qualifications relevant to their goals whether upskilling or seeking employment, a Skills Bootcamp could be for you.

In completing a skills Bootcamp you will:

Skills Bootcamps are for individuals with the right to work and live in England.

Our courses are designed with employers around the skills they need and are all taught with expert tuition and outstanding learning content.

This course will be delivered with a combination of online and face-to-face classroom delivery. For the practical work experience placement you will be assigned a position as close as possible to your area of interest, and you will work to a bespoke programme, gaining valuable experience in this area, with the potential of progression into paid work.

How is a Skills Bootcamp Structured?

There are several component parts of the training some of which will include accredited qualifications such as:
  • L1 award in chosen option
  • L1 short accredited course
  • L1 award in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development
  • Employer led masterclass which might be delivered using SMART technology (e.g. mobile phone)
  • Working with a partner organisation to help you embed your new learning into a CV
